Sceptre Award 2010 - The winner is....
futur is proud to sponsor the 2010 Sceptre Environmental Management Team of the Year Award, recognising Best Practice in sustainability demonstrated by a shopping centre or portfolio of shopping centres.
This years shortlist included:
Bluewater, Cushman & Wakefield portfolio, Land Securities portfolio, The Brewery Romford, The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, The Trafford Centre.
Judged by an independent panel of leading members of the Shopping Centre Industry the award went to the Trafford Centre on the night. The Trafford Centre is on target to achieve its aim of becoming the greenest shopping centre in the UK. An on-site borehole now supplies all the centre’s water needs and waste to landfill has been reduced by 44 percent.
